Chilaquiles
I drive all over the country as a truck driver but there is nothing like Butter Toast. Their chilaquiles are authentic and the place is always clean. The service is great the owners greet everyone which shows how appreciative they are of their customers. Juan-
3 Pancakes Side
We have been eating here weekly for about 6 years. Never have had an issue with the food. Always made the way we like it and the portions are enormous. I have yet to finish my breakfast! The servers are very nice. I'd like to shout out to Nate, Laura and Irma. They are great! I've been eating at Around the Clock for about 35 years, and enjoy it, but this is so much better. The rewards program can't be beat. I only wish it was open for dinner, as we would love to have more options, since I rarely cook. It's a bit of a drive, but we love our weekly breakfast!
Biscuits & Gravy
Buttered Toast is always good, the food is always hot and fresh, highly recommended them for breakfast or lunch!!!!
Pot Pie
I crave this pot pie so often. This is my absolute favorite dish. I love 30 minutes away, and I make that journey to indulge at least twice a month. Thank you for being so dang consistent and delicious.
Patty Melt
January 17th 2024 It was the most delicious Patty Melt that I have ever had. The meat was tender and juicy. The toppings were just perfect. The French fries were hot and crisp. The lettuce was crisp and pickle tasted like it came out of the barrel when they are first made. I have tried many different items from their breakfast and lunch menu. Every item that I have had there is the best that I have ever had at any other restaurants. From the cooks to the server's they all make Buttered Toast Restaurant an enjoyable experience. I had the opportunity to meet t the owner. He was very nice. If you are looking for a restaurant with a friendly family environment and some of the best food that you ever tasted I would highly recommend Buttered Toast Restaurant in Algonquin IL. Breakfast Tacos
Love Buttered Toast. I like to try many dishes at places and normally never get the same thing. These breakfast tacos were amazing. and Yes I have ordered them on several visits. They are perfect size portion and include some favorites paired along side them, such as sour cream and salsa. I would suggest trying them.
Chilaqiles Rojos
This plate is so delicious if you like something spicy this is the way to go!!
Denver Omelette
Always such a great experience eating at this restaurant! The food is always so fresh and portions are very generous. Will definitely be back for the Denver omelette.
Chilaquiles
coming from a Mexican background I 100% approve of these chilaquiles. The salsa is authentic, and the tortilla chips are so good. A must try.
Chicken & Bacon Waffle
Excellent one of the most scrumptious dishes I've ever tasted and delightful
